U.S. D.O.T. Hazmat Employee Training

This Two-Day 16 Hour Course is recommended for those involved in the transportation of hazardous materials.

The U.S. D.O.T. defines a Hazmat Employer as one who uses employees to transport hazardous materials or represents, marks, certifies, sells, offers, reconditions, tests, repairs or modifies containers, drums, or other packaging for use in transporting hazardous materials.

The U.S. D.O.T. defines a Hazmat Employee as one (self-employed or working for a Company)  who affects the safe transportation of hazardous materials.

This course satisfies 49 CFR 172.02. All new employees must be trained within 90 days of their start and re-trained at least once every three years thereafter.

All participants receive our 200 page training manual and a set of exercises to be done during the class.
